STELLA KNIGHT RUESS was Everett’s mother and is recognized as one of his primary artistic influences. In Los Angeles, they worked together in some of the same mediums including linoleum block printing. Later she orchestrated the publishing of his first book, “On Desert Trails”, in 1940, Six years after Everett vanished.
